Among the closest destinations to Residence Solemaremma, besides the town of Castiglione della Pescaia, you can find Punta Ala just 15 km away and the seaside towns of Argentario such as Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano and Talamone. The Tuscan Archipelago can be easily reached by mini-cruises and ferries. For ancient history lovers, a visit to nearby Vetulonia with its Etruscan excavations is recommended, along with Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano of Etruscan origin as well; Saturnia with its famous thermal baths and Montalcino, homeland of Brunello wine, which is about 80 km from Residence Solemaremma, for all lovers of good wine and food&wine tourism.
