RESIDENCE PARK SOLEMAREMMA – TERRITORY

Residence Solemaremma –  Maremma

Maremma

The uniqueness of Maremma is given by the diversity of its territory, a perfect microcosm where you can find sea, hills and mountains. Maremma is located in the southernmost part of Tuscany, on the border with Lazio, a geographical area that coincides with the province of Grosseto. This region was rich and fertile at the Etruscan and Roman times, but then saw a serious impoverishment in the Middle Ages due to marshes. At the beginning of the 20th century, the reclamation work gave new impetus to the agricultural transformation of the territory, which is still the main source of economy nowadays. In this land it is possible to find the Tuscany of the past, with its cultivated fields, hills and the typical fauna and flora.
